Well while I agree with you that it was a major dick move on their part, you have to see things from their side. Someone had taken baby steps towards creating cfw for the ps3, and they wanted to crush it before it really started moving. I mean they have seen another one of their systems get totally destroyed due to cfw aka the psp. If people are getting games for free, then people won't be buying them, thus publishers stop making money and thus stop making good games for the system. Look at the history of the psp. I can't really blame them tbh.

yeah you're right, I dunno I was just on the ps3 forums and so many people are like "oh well you're effed sony,me gets an ewksawks" So it made me feel like writing that
