Atvrcr's Wonderful Roommate

Hey everyone, it's been a long long time since I've posted anything. 2012 was a busy year for me, and writing stuff just hasn't been a priority for me. I definitely want to start blogging again, so I'm gonna try and make time on occasions. Anyways, today I am here to gripe. I want to tell a little story of how easily friendships with cousins can turn into just a hatred inside of your mind. Well maybe that's not the right word. No I don't hate this cousin, it's that the current situation I am in does not leave much room for being buddy buddy. I'm sure that once this is done with everything will be fine.

The situation I'm talking about is being roommates. So let's go back a bit to the right around the time this started. I'll abridge this as much as I can, so it doesn't drag on too long.

The Meat Tragedy

This is a short story I made. It's pretty ridiculous, but enjoy. And remember to ignore spelling mistakes and such. I didn't proofread.

Chapter 1
    Another horrid day out. Well, for me anyway. Ugh... Sunlight. Who needs it... Rain! There's a better option. It smells good. It sounds better than even the most revered musical compositions in the world. You can stand under it and then later you don't even have to take a bath. Not like I can take a bath on this god forsaken piece of crap boat. That's right I'm on a boat. A horrible smelly boat that can only be considered manageable to be on when it is raining.

Where are Them Reviews Atv?

anyone who reads the stuff I write, whether it be here, at baka-wolf, facebook or whatever, knows that I love to do game reviews. Unfortunately I haven't done a game review in quite some time, and if anyone cares, there is a reason for this. I learned that my pure fanboy way of reviewing games was bad. So now I've decided to up my game and do some actual decent reviews that reflect the game itself and now my fanboy opinion. As of now I have three of them that I am working on, actually two of them would have been done sooner if my PS3 didn't die (causing me to have to start these games all over).

The three games are: Ar Tonelico III, Catherine, and Hyperdimension Neptunia. I hope you read them when they come out.

Catherine [PS3/XBOX360] Review

Alright as title says, this is a review, but putting that aside first, I would like to say, I am not posting this before atvrcr just to be the ass that I might want to be saying "FINISHED BEFORE ATVRCR" just for fun. Anyways, I have been saving up for quite a few games, thus I was not able to buy the deluxe edition that atvrcrc did sadly, but I did purchase the OST CD + art book. For all you people reading this and might be interested in getting what I got, the OST CD only has 11 tracks of the main BGM, but not all, and the art book, well I'll let you find out yourself I guess.

 This game is about a man Vincent, aged 32, that has a girlfriend called Katherine, which has been his girlfriend for 10(?) years. As Katherine pushes onto Vincent to get married and seal the deal, Vincent feels uneasy and feels that things should stay as it is... Not too long after, another girl enters Vincent's life, This time being called Catherine, how will things work out for Vincent? I'll leave you to find that out.

New Tondemonai Fansubs Mascot

Otaku's post has put me in the mood to post a little something. Yep, I've made a mascot for our subgroup. I think this is a first. I plan to reveal her on the Tondemonai website any day now. I've just got to make some nicer drawings of her. I plan to make her hair more orangey while still keeping that pastel-ish look that I'm going for. In case you were wondering, I'm naming her Mitsuki. It's my favorite name! <3

I'm still here?

So where have I been? In hiding mainly. I'm not much into the whole anime scene much anymore. I work on Naruto for tsuki-subs and that's it. I read the Naruto and Bleach manga. Currently I am re-watching DBZ for the 3rd or 4th time. Not really sure. Also I have joined Google+. If you would like an invitation to the new social networking site please let me know. Shopping for games? Here's my list..

Alright, the first game on my list. As some of you might know, this game is coming out this month, if I'm not wrong (open for corrections) it is released on the 26th, as I have already begun pre-ordering my copy. This game is a very unique game in my opinion, this is because there are several features, especially when Vincent (protagonist) goes to sleep, and goes into this nightmare, in which he is chased by various things/people/monsters, on the way to get out you have to pull out blocks to form a way up to the top in which you would be able to escape from.

To Those Who Actually Care

Remember when I said we weren't dead? Well that is still true. I had planned on writing stuff like my At3 and Neptunia reviews, but thanks to a nice crap out of my Ps3's HDD I was set back quite a bit. It died when I was out of town so I had to wait 2 weeks before I could send it in for repair, and then an extra 3 weeks for the repair process. So basically all I have been doing is trying to get my games (that I didn't have backed up at the time) back up to where I was. During the down time I was working on a little video using create.swf that is about 60% scripted and should clock in at around 10-15 minutes. 

I know that no one really cares but there will be a revival of this site.

Freaking Verizon and their hidden charges. Can someone tell me why I'm paying $30 a month for unlimited data and texting if I can't send a few texts internationally?! Anyway, long story short, I was charged a whopping $32 for only 130 texts internationally. Someone definitely needs to frikin Akumetsu Verizon.
